Go Socialize is a social group for autistic adults. We meet twice a month at The Ritz Social Club, where members enjoy activities such as bingo, card games, quizzes, and themed parties designed.
Go Socialize was founded over six years ago with one simple goal: to create a dedicated space where autistic adults in Burnham-on-Sea, Highbridge, and the surrounding areas could socialise.
We know that traditional social scenes can sometimes feel overwhelming, so we created a club where the atmosphere is relaxed and the activities are all about having fun together.
Our evenings often feature classic games like Bingo and fun quizzes. We always have a selection of board games to choose from and some fun card games such as Uno.
Sometimes we just want to relax and get creative with a craft or art session. We’ll make things like Christmas Ornaments, Valentines Day Cards and other fun crafty stuff.
We don’t just stay indoors! Throughout the year, we will meet away from our usual spot. Sometimes we’ll stay local and goto the arcades or cinema, but we also arrange day trips to places like Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm.
Everything you need to know about coming along to Go Socialize.
The Ritz Social Club is in Burnham-on-Sea on Victoria Street, Burnham-on-Sea, TA8 1AN.

Parking: There’s plenty of on-street parking nearby The Ritz and on the seafront.
Bus stops: There’s two nearby bus stops. One is located on Regeant Street (the seafront). The second is by Burnham Swimming Pool. Note: The bus service to/from Burnham ends early so you’ll usually need to walk, or use the train station to get home if coming from out of town.
The Ritz has two entrances. One of which is step-only access. Use the right hand door labeled “The Ritz Social Club”. When the door’s shut, you’ll need to press a button and wait for someone to buzz you in.
Alternatively there step-free access down the side alley to the left of the stairs. This alley can be dark, so you might want to use your phone torch or carry a torch on you.

Fragrance-free: To ensure the safety and comfort of all our members, we ask that you do not wear fragrances (such as perfumes, body sprays, aftershaves, or colognes) when attending the club, as some members have allergies or sensory sensitivities to smells. Please use a roll-on deodorant if possible.

Be Kind: Please treat all other members, staff at The Ritz, and guests with respect and patience. We have a zero tolerance policy against bullying and abuse of any kind. This includes remarks made against someone’s race, gender, disability and sexuality.
Safety First: Please follow the guidance of the group organisers during activities, outings and parties to ensure everyone stays safe. But this is a volunteer ran group so you or your carer/responsible adult, are in charge of your safety. Please see our Safety & Responsibility Disclaimer.
